Terms of service

1. The service

QuickVidya is a hosted school and institute management service provided by Dosvak. By registering an institute you (the institute, acting through the person who registers) agree to these terms. The person registering confirms they are authorised to bind the institute.

2. Accounts and sub-domains

Each institute receives a site at a sub-domain of quickvidya.com (or a reseller's domain) and may map its own domain. Sub-domains must not impersonate other institutions or brands; we may reclaim misleading or reserved names. The administrator is responsible for the users it creates and for keeping credentials safe.

3. Plans, trial and billing

The Free plan is limited to the student cap shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed yearly per enrolled student with a plan minimum, plus GST, in Indian rupees; a 30-day free trial applies to new paid subscriptions. When a trial or subscription ends unpaid the site enters a 15-day grace period and is then suspended; data is retained for 90 days after suspension before deletion, and an export bundle can be requested at any time during that period. Prices may change with 30 days' notice before renewal.

4. Your data

The institute owns the data it enters. We process it only to provide the service, under the Privacy Notice and a data-processing agreement available on request. The institute is responsible for having the right to enter personal data, for parental consents, and for lawful use of messaging channels (TRAI DLT, WhatsApp Business policies). Fee dues never block attendance, exam or transfer-certificate functions; this cannot be turned off.

5. Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no harassment, no attempts to access other tenants, no bulk unsolicited messaging, no resale without a reseller agreement. We may suspend a site that endangers the platform or other customers, and will tell you why.

6. Availability and support

We target 99.5 % monthly availability outside announced maintenance windows and keep hourly backups. Support is by email on all plans and by WhatsApp on paid plans during Indian business hours. Enterprise plans carry a written SLA.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its design and documentation belong to Dosvak and its licensors; open-source components remain under their own licences. You receive a non-exclusive right to use the service for your institute during the subscription. Your logo, content and data remain yours.

8. Liability

The service is provided with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law our aggregate liability in any year is limited to the fees paid for that year, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your site or by writing to us; fees for the current year are not refunded except as required by law. On termination you can download your export bundle within 90 days.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will first be raised with our grievance officer; unresolved disputes go to the courts at New Delhi.
